In exciting news, the University of Adelaide has launched a new course tailored specifically to Export Controls and Trade Sanctions. It is one of only two of its kind in Australia, and the only one running in 2025, but you will need to get in fast!
As global security dynamics shift and regulatory frameworks evolve, particularly in light of the AUKUS trilateral security partnership, industry professionals face increasingly complex compliance landscapes. This course equips participants with the legal, strategic, and policy knowledge needed to navigate these challenges, covering both international regimes (like the Wassenaar Arrangement and Australia Group) and domestic legislation updates.
ECAG is not directly involved in delivering this course, however it aligns strongly with our mission to increase capability through our corporate partner University of Adelaide. In this instance, we are proud to support awareness of educational opportunities that contribute to Australia’s security, innovation, and global engagement.

Course Overview: Law of Export Controls and Trade Sanctions
